KILLSWITCH ENGAGE: New Song Preview Available?
March 12, 2006A 37-second audio sample of what appears to be a new KILLSWITCH ENGAGE song can be heard as part of a video preview of WWE wrestler Randy Orton's new entrance theme. Check it out at WWE.com. A low-quality version of the song was used by Orton last week on "Friday Night Smackdown!", and the full track is supposed to be on WWE's upcoming entrance theme CD, "WWE Reckless Intent". It is not presently clear if the song will make it to KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's upcoming studio album, which is not expected to surface before the end of the year at the earliest.
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE played a "secret" show on Feb. 19, 2006 at Cabot Street in Chicopee, Massachusetts at the record-release party for ONCE BELOVED, who were the opening act for the KILLSWITCH ENGAGE DVD shoot in July 2005. ONCE BELOVED also features KILLSWITCH guitarist Joel Stroetzel's younger brother, Tyler, on guitar. KILLSWITCH played without guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, who was said to be in the studio with UNDEROATH. The band played a set of their older material with only two songs coming off "The End of Heartache" record ("A Bid Farewell", "Rose of Sharyn"). Former vocalist Jesse Leach was on hand and performed "Just Barely Breathing" with the band.
